The True USB Programmer is able to support both chips. The EN29F002ANT is listed as EN29F002NT. They are the same chip with different revision only. The W39D040A is not there but it can be added. The W39D040A seems not a marketed chip, so no programmer have this chip in the supported list. But True-USB can add this in.

Thanks
I have found this reffer links for Winbond device:
h**p://www.winbond-usa.com/products/winbond_products/pdfs/Memory/scriptPNMNV01.pdf
h**p://www.nuhorizons.com/ProductChange/winbond/Z200-PCN-W4200710-01B.pdf
In first link, Windbond says what programmers support each Winbond device of that series and in the second link, appear the use for this device: Parallel Flash Product List, W39D040A-70Z 4Mb ISA, P-DIP, for DVD player market...
The photo of Winbond device that I posted, is from a motherboard of new Taiwan-China game machine like "cherry master", not a DVD player.
Thank you very much backbiter17, can you please add some link to specific Lpt McuMall programmer or/scriptnd device list for me?
And ZLM, thanks, can you confirm if an old Willem Lpt programmer will work, or if better to me buy a True USB Programmer, I like True-USB PRO GQ-4X Willem option, but what can I do to add this device to a programmer supported list?
Thank you very much again!!! |

All LPT programmer supported flash devices are supported on GQ-4X and more.
Add a chip in to GQ-4X normally is based on the chip datasheet. If there are no datasheet for W39D040A, then we can try other similar chips, such as W29C020 or AT29C040. From there to find out the working algorithm for it.
