You are right. The wire only needed for m27c1000.

im doing these and 27c1001 27c160 27c800 eproms. so permanently tieing the line is alright? i wouldn't think so.

Yes. You can solder a wire from A23 to PCB back side on ZIF pin 24. So that you can easily change the EPROM without link the jumper wire.

above worked without double write.

i will need to solder a access pin on pin24 becuase im doing a bunch of these

yep dip 32

thanks for your help.
ZLM Posted - 12/21/2007 : 11:45:59
No adapter needed if your chip DIP32 package.
werejag Posted - 12/21/2007 : 11:44:22
so no need to make an adptor after this?

ZLM Posted - 12/21/2007 : 11:39:18
Add this line to devices.txt:

Name="M27C1000",ID="XXXX",Class="27C301",Category="EPROM",MFG="ST",RVpp="5V";

However, you need put a wire jumper between address header A23 to ZIF socket pin 24. And make sure they are contacted well.

yes it took a bit but found a copy

when you add it can i get an update? i really dont want to create a permanent adaptor dont have the parts yet to make a adapter.
ZLM Posted - 12/21/2007 : 09:55:51
It should be able to add this EPROM. Do you have datasheet of it?
werejag Posted - 12/21/2007 : 03:10:36
