is this chip supported im now sitting on 10 m27c1000 from st and it doesnt seem to write to these.

had to swap oe and a16 to get the programer to work.

It should be able to add this EPROM. Do you have datasheet of it?

yes it took a bit but found a copy

when you add it can i get an update? i really dont want to create a permanent adaptor dont have the parts yet to make a adapter.

Add this line to devices.txt:

Name="M27C1000",ID="XXXX",Class="27C301",Category="EPROM",MFG="ST",RVpp="5V";

However, you need put a wire jumper between address header A23 to ZIF socket pin 24. And make sure they are contacted well.

No adapter needed if your chip DIP32 package.

Does it always fail at the same location?

Please download the latest R2.05 software.
Check the Double-Write check box too.

Do a blank check before write.

Also, try without external power first.

yep fails at same spot both chips.

i will need to solder a access pin on pin24 becuase im doing a bunch of these

Yes. You can solder a wire from A23 to PCB back side on ZIF pin 24. So that you can easily change the EPROM without link the jumper wire.

im doing these and 27c1001 27c160 27c800 eproms. so permanently tieing the line is alright? i wouldn't think so.

You are right. The wire only needed for m27c1000.
