Hi.. I have a new True USB Programmer GQ-4X RE 1.10, and ADP-054 16 Bit EPROM 40/42 pin ZIF adapter V3 for Willem (jumper j1, short 1 ?2)
And I work with GQ USB 3.02BETA, I TRAY TO program a M27C4002 AND SHOW, WRITE FAILED, ADDRESS00X000000, BUFFER=0X54 DEVICE =0X00
If I push “GET id?show, function not supported on this device. Is correct?
I chek whith 27c256, 27c64, sst39sf020, and is right. (whihout 16 Bit EPROM 40/42 pin ZIF adapter )
In the adapter there are free j2,
It has attached a power 9v,
Can you help me??

I think something wrong with either your EPROM chip or adapter. Please wait for your new test chip. If it still does not work, then contact support@mcumall.com for the further assistance. |

I did the test with the line: Name = "M27C4002 (Test)," ID = "XXX", Class = "27C040" Category = "EPROM" MFG = "ST", CodeSize = "524288", Adapter = 16 BIT EPROM Adapter 40pin/combo ";
and not burn. produces the same error, I confirmed that reads the memory, I put a eprom similar to the program in Spanish. and read some texts in Spanish. but I can not erase EPROM that this is my original, and I do not have the security of being able to record it again.
M27C4002 already bought another, but it is in transit. if you got to do another test. wait to get the new Eprom. and then you il.

ZLM hello.
check the forum yesterday and had a response, with the addition of two lines which say 27c2400 test 1; 27c2400 and another test today when I go to the test disappeared! What happened? , Yet I could not do the test but now I do not have the text must be added to the file "devices.txt" can be put back? yet I could not DO THE TEST.
Today EPROM buy another 15 days to arrive in the U.S., mintras so I can only try to have. programdor go to the well with nmc27c 64q; am27256. I dont have memories of 16bit for testing.

Do you have any other EPROM does not need the adapter?

• Vcc has no noise or fluctuations during the recording.

What is the exact error message you got? If it can not pass the blank check, is it always at the same address? or random data.
Do you have second EPROM for testing? The EPROM has limited erase time. If the chip long time expose to UV light, then it may be demaged.

I can burn the M27C4002. 
for the moment I can not get a blank EPROM, and I encourage you to get a taped another team for this if I broke the recorder and erase any bit.
Most likely the problem in this adapter, and you 40p the 16-bit version I have is V3.0
someone has a diagram of this accessory?
as I can get?
if any can give the link.

The chip need to be fully erased before write. Also, a blank check is needed to make sure the chip is blank.
Yes. you can use WVCC="6.2V". The "5.5V" only for the safty/compatibility reason.
Confirm the pin contacting before write. |

Hello, me again. Clear with M27c4002 the UV lamp and then recording perfectly.
With 2 times I did the same memory.
Now attempt to write and give me the same write error But.
1) if there is a blank chek sometimes show "Chip is blank"
Other times, chek blank failed and it is 00, and on 08
2) if one reads the report gives FF, but when trying to write it gives write failed adress00000, buffer device 00 ff
3) sometimes reads and gives ff, in the editing screen, said device 0x00, attempting to burn.
The memories were erased 10, 12.15 minutes with a UV lamp G8T5,
The 2 memories are new. M27c4002 mark ST.
Reading the data sheet of M27c4002 found:
The M27C4002 is in the programming
VPP mode when input is at 12.75V, G is
HIV and E is at Pulsed to VIL. The data to be programmed
is applied to 16 bits in parallel to the data
output pins. The levels required for the address
and data inputs are TTL. VCC is to be specified
6.25V ± 0.25V.
The GQ-4X vcc rises Vcc to 6.25V? 
It will not be that the lack tion for this program, since according to the list of the component is White 5.5V Vcc.

It seems your EPROM chip is not blank. You have to erase the EPROM before write anything.
On GQ-4X, J2 is not used. For this chip, the J1 need to set jumper on pin 1-2(short the 1,2). |
