now i have the correct line for everyone who wants to work with MX29LV008CTTC-70G

Name="MX29LV008CT",ID="C23E",Class="SST39LF/VF040",Category="FLASH",MFG="Macronix",CodeSize="1048576",DIP="100011110101",Adapter="TSOP40A-DIP32 adapter",VCC="3.6V",Message=" "Speed="0" ,Set the adapter to 5V jumper position and connect A19 from adapter to programmer.";

sylverster16v Posted - 01/02/2009 : 03:45:18
yes that was the correct answer :)
ZLM Posted - 01/01/2009 : 22:13:59
Great! It needs A19 address line to be connected.
sylverster16v Posted - 01/01/2009 : 17:21:54
Now for everyone:
add this line:
Name="AM29LV008BT",ID="013E",Class="SST39LF/VF040",Category="FLASH",MFG="AMD",CodeSize="1048576",DIP="100011110101",Adapter="TSOP40A-DIP32",VCC="3.6V";

and you have to connect A19!(GQ-4X also)

now everything works

i checked the pin contacting so often,that a dream nights from tsop pins
ZLM Posted - 12/31/2008 : 22:03:39
something wrong with contacting. It should get 013E for the correct ID.
sylverster16v Posted - 12/30/2008 : 17:50:59
the datasheet says, the ID has to be 013E ?

Try this:

Name="AM29LV008B",ID="0137",Class="29LV800B",Category="FLASH",MFG="AMD",Adapter="TSOP40A-DIP32",VCC="3.6V",Message="Set the adapter to 5V.";
sylverster16v Posted - 12/12/2008 : 15:40:48
i will get Am29LV008BT-70REC ,do you think it is compatible to MX29LV008CTTC-70G and which device should i select in the software?
ZLM Posted - 12/05/2008 : 02:08:41
Not sure if the chip is dead. Jog the adapter little bit after locked it. This will help on pin contacting between adapter and ZIF socket.
sylverster16v Posted - 12/04/2008 : 07:16:05
if there is no other way and the chip is dead, which compatible other chips can i buy for MX29LV008CTTC-70G ??
ZLM Posted - 12/03/2008 : 11:50:47
Try to get the ID first before doing anything else.

Close the 3V6 jumper will be 5V.

Close all 3 jumpers will be fine.

Most likely is the contacting problem. Check your pin contacting with the adapter and adapter pin with the programmer.

Your chip is brand new or used?
Can you take a close look picture?

Adapter="TSOP40A"

Try this line:

Name="MX29LV008T",ID="C23E",Class="29LV800T",Category="FLASH",MFG="Macronix",Adapter="TSOP40A-DIP32 adapter",VCC="3.6V",Message="Set the adapter to 5V jumper position.";
