www.mcumall.com/download/TrueUSBWillem/GQUSBPrgRe4.0Beta2.exe
Uninstall the old version first.
Select TE28F160C3B from software. |

Posted - 01/21/2009 : 12:09:09 The A19 should always be connected. Otherwise it will not work stable. The current software only support erase for TE28F160C3T, not the TE28F160C3B.
The erasing progress bar is only for the time reference. It can be different on diferent chips.
It is a good sign that the chip top part been erased.
In this case you only can write the top part since it is the only part been erased. The rest you only can write 0.
I will post new software for you testing later.

Posted - 01/20/2009 : 03:02:35 I tell you what i do all for your development software. When i select the TE28F160C3T id is 8988C3. I can read data from flash (true or false data i dont know). When i select erase the vpp led some times doing nothing sometimes intervally working and when erasing %100 the cancel button make passive and after 5 - 10 minutes there is a warning like a dont support or need erasing this chip. And than i push read button some places seem as a @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ .
When i connect A19 wire and push erase button it erase to %12-13 and finish. I push read button with a19 cable top informations was deleted but some place has a information (The chip isnt blank.) After this operation i disconnect a19 wire and read the chip , te chip is blank :)
After than i select any one of the 2mb dumpfiles it didnt write , again push write button dont write , again again when the process starting at %1 or %4 or %13 (it can different result) there is an error and than again write without erasing it write at %50 and there is an error. The last stop is this point.
After %50 writing when i read the chip top and middle information true bu some times different and bottom information certainly false.
If you have a question about this let me know. I want to helping you. |

Posted - 01/19/2009 : 20:41:45 The ID is correct for the TE28F160C3B. But software only tested for TE28F160C3T. So the TE28F160C3B is not in the supported list yet.
Can you confrim the chip can be partially erased?
Read the chip and see if top or bottom part been erased.
And the chip can write 0 to all location?
If this is true, then we can add this chip quickly. |

Posted - 01/19/2009 : 08:52:30 If your chip Intel TE28F160C3 then you need to use 16 Bit TSOP48 adapter.
Please check all the jumper settings on adapter.
You should be able to get correct chip ID first, otherwise you need to check if thereare any pin contacting problem. |
