hi I have a GQ-4X PROGRAMER and I`m Try to read with a test clip a 24C02= B58258 eeprom and the programer just shows the progress bar and said (reading. .. 24C02. the eeprom is a immo of a E.C.U Bosh I try now with 2 E.C.U.

The LED vcc on the programmer is red at moment to read the eeprom when normally is green. Now I try to use alimentation and gives me the same problem. thank you hopefully can help.

chip was ok. in old willem lpt work at first read

If you programming the chip on the programmer, then the chip may be the problem.

connection was good. chip was soldered into dip reduction.

hi.
i have same problem.

I try read chip B58253 it is 24c02 SOP, but in gq-4x doesnt work read this chip, i am try various combinations chips in menu, but doesnt work.
in gq-4x still read only FF in chip

in willem usb/lpt work ok

If this is true, then the chip in circuit may not be able to programmed in circuit. It needs to removed from the PCB.

and I read another eeprom 24C02 of withus cell and read very well.

It does not read? or read but gives wrong data? not read just read 2 times but no more.

Is your ECU powered up? not is powered

How many lines you connected to the chip? I conect the 8 lines of the serial eeprom and I'm connected correctly..
