Posted - 06/07/2009 : 07:16:01 I recently got a GQ-4X and as a matter of trying it out. I got out an old flash chip I pulled of a motherboard. Now I seem to be able to read it. (In fact I seem to have a found a joke in the code ;-) ) However I can't seem to erase it! Now I connected a dc adaptor and everything..but it just wont erase it. Any tips?
edit: forgot to mention. I also already tried filling the buffer with FF and then writing that. But that didn't work either.
edit2: tried another chip (not the same type) and it DID erase it. So it's probably not the programmer. |
