Try this build:

http://www.mcumall.com/download/TrueUSBWillem/GQUSBPrgRe5.03Beta.exe

Use speed 0 or +1 to test.

If it is works, change the this device to Speed=3 in devices.txt file.

Let me know if this works.

I have a GQ-3X together with ADP-019 PSOP44 - DIP32 adapter V2,
I tested chip AM29F400 with speed -70.
Thanks for your effort!

If possible, send a testing chip to support@mcumall.com.

I check the "Temp. Unprotect" checkbox, but No difference.

Try to check the "Temp. Unprotect" checkbox, and see if it makes difference.

I checked contact step by steb on pins also try push left-right adapter without any sucess also I don`t see problem in contact cose 29f400 and 29f200 flash works perfect also with MX29f800 read and ID check work.

check your chip pin contact in the socket. And check the adapter pin contact with the programmer. After locked the adapter in ZIF, push the adapter left-right little bit. That will help the adapter contacting with the programmer ZIF.

I connect the A19 pin on the adapter to the A19 on the GQ-3X A19 pin but again the same story.
ZLM Posted - 04/15/2010 : 16:00:54
A19 is a address line. On the ADP-019, there is a A19 pin on the adapter. For the 29F800 chip, the A19 pin on the adapter should connect to the A19 on the GQ-3X A19 pin.
sylverster16v Posted - 04/15/2010 : 09:47:57
no zlm means adress line 19 on ADP-053 Extended address header
autotronic Posted - 04/12/2010 : 02:16:03
I see address lines A0-A18, you mean address line A18 on pin 2?
ZLM Posted - 04/05/2010 : 23:05:51
Is the A19 address line connected?
autotronic Posted - 04/01/2010 : 13:29:43
I have 5 pieces and there is the same problem with all of them.
ZLM Posted - 03/30/2010 : 23:39:58
Do you have second chip for testing?
autotronic Posted - 03/30/2010 : 12:57:41
Same problem at all speeds.
ZLM Posted - 03/30/2010 : 08:34:12
can you try slower speed?
autotronic Posted - 03/29/2010 : 10:53:51
Thank you for prompt answer, I added lines into device.txt.Now I can read, erase (I have a blank flashs) but when I write I get error in verification sequence (verify failled address=0×00001,device=0×FF,buffer 0=C3) Then I start reading and see that programer wrote only first byte all other lines stay at FF (blank).If I erase again it can erase and chip is blank also blank check and verification works without error.

The MX29F800 is not in the device list. It will report the ID error if you select other chip.

Try to add following lines into devices.txt and select "MX29F800T" from software then.

Name="MX29F800T*PSOP44",ID="C2D6",Class="29F800T",Category="FLASH",MFG="Macronix",Adapter="ADP-019 PSOP44-DIP32",RVPP="5V",Message="Set the adapter to 5V jumper position.";
Name="MX29F800B*PSOP44",ID="C258",Class="29F800B",Category="FLASH",MFG="Macronix",Adapter="ADP-019 PSOP44-DIP32",RVPP="5V",Message="Set the adapter to 5V jumper position.";
