The MX29F800 is not in the device list. It will report the ID error if you select other chip.
Try to add following lines into devices.txt and select "MX29F800T" from software then.
Name="MX29F800T*PSOP44",ID="C2D6",Class="29F800T",Category="FLASH",MFG="Macronix",Adapter="ADP-019 PSOP44-DIP32",RVPP="5V",Message="Set the adapter to 5V jumper position."; Name="MX29F800B*PSOP44",ID="C258",Class="29F800B",Category="FLASH",MFG="Macronix",Adapter="ADP-019 PSOP44-DIP32",RVPP="5V",Message="Set the adapter to 5V jumper position.";

Thank you for prompt answer, I added lines into device.txt.Now I can read, erase (I have a blank flashs) but when I write I get error in verification sequence (verify failled address=0×00001,device=0×FF,buffer 0=C3) Then I start reading and see that programer wrote only first byte all other lines stay at FF (blank).If I erase again it can erase and chip is blank also blank check and verification works without error. |

A19 is a address line. On the ADP-019, there is a A19 pin on the adapter. For the 29F800 chip, the A19 pin on the adapter should connect to the A19 on the GQ-3X A19 pin. |

check your chip pin contact in the socket. And check the adapter pin contact with the programmer. After locked the adapter in ZIF, push the adapter left-right little bit. That will help the adapter contacting with the programmer ZIF.

Try to check the "Temp. Unprotect" checkbox, and see if it makes difference. |
