Normal FWH/LPC+ adapter ADP-030 is missing DIP sockets and some other components for TSOP adapters which are offered in Professional FWH/LPC+ adapter set ADP-057.
Now, I have this Normal version and suddenly need the TSOP capability, I can just solder in the missing parts and it will work. I could, of course, just order the ADP-057 set but I already have that TSOP adapter and besides why waste a working adapter if you can just upgrade it right? :)
But there is a problem with those two missing transistors, I dont know if they are the same as other two on this Normal FWH/LPC+ adapter, those are PNP transistors S8050

Can someone confirm what transistors are used for TSOP part of the FWH/LPC+ adapter?

Thanks!

Anyway, I already upgraded it with the missing components, it was too easy to resist the DIY upgrade :)

Your adapter must be Re2.0 or earlier version.

But it should work fine for most of chips. You do not have to install those missing component.

All 5 transistors are S8050
