i have used my GQ-3X programmer 6 months ago toflas a sst39vf3201chip , then after i formated my computer reloaded the new software 6.00 programmer keep on asking to upgrade to new firmware checked the driver version it is 2.0.1.0 when i lunch the prog on the screen says
h/w GQ-3X Re-1.00
USB Driver 2.0
software Re 6.00
checking new software on server...
DEVICE SST39VF3201
this software is updatedcalready
and another window that says
this device is not supported on this programmer version you may need to upgrade the programmer or firmware
what could be my problem? thx |

This should no be the firmware issue.
Use slower speed and try. Some old AT89C2051 has some compatibility problem. |

I have a little problem with breaking the AT89C2051 programming at 9 - over 14%.
I've bought an extra adapter for this chip through from Zeitech.
Can this problem on the old firmware are?

You have to send the unit for them to upgrade. Ask support@mcumall.com for RMA. OR you can use old software. |

The Re.1.00 is a very old firmware. You need to upgrade in order to work with new software. Please write to support@mcumall.com for upgrade assistant. |
