Posted - 01/07/2014 : 05:02:08 Hi there!
I just wanted to write the chip above, but I couldn't. If I select in Device W39V080APZ, it says I need an adapter. I have ADP-030, so I connected it to GQ-4X. The prog warns me, it says: "<<W39V080APZ>> Try to slowdown the speed when erasing if erase fail."
So, If speed is on +2, then erase will fail. If I slow down to +1 or 0, then everything goes well. But If I try to write it at speed +2, then at 88% I got an error message and the write lasts for 15 minutes.

25.93 KB
If I slow down to +1, it halts at 94% and it lasts a horribly long 8 HOURS, and stacks at 94%. I didn't try to write it at 0 speed, because I don't have time so much. What is the problem?! |

Please remove any chip from the ZIF socket!

This output is from USB as the power source. I have an adapter, but that's 12V and 1A. Should I connect it to gq-4x? |

Posted - 01/11/2014 : 19:40:19 The voltage diagnostic is in the menu Test H/W item.
Try with a external power and see if it makes different.

Posted - 01/11/2014 : 14:28:13 I would excluse pin contact problem and adapter problem, because I wrote already with my adp-030 with no error. Nay! I'm programming every time with the same USB cable. How could I test the other factors? I remember some Voltage Diagnostic in Usbprg. Someone has idea? |

Posted - 01/11/2014 : 09:43:09 If the pogramming stopped someware more than 1 minitues, then somethng is wrong and you can close the software.
There are more than one factors may cause this problem: 1. adapter problem 2. pin contact 3. may be power related. 4. USB cable ..

Posted - 01/10/2014 : 10:02:11 Thanks for nothing. I tried to burn it with my another burner, Willem PCB 5.0E, and everything worked fine. WTF?! Why had moderner USB burner failed? I don't understand. |

Posted - 01/07/2014 : 06:05:45 Update1: if I set Device offset to 0E0000 and cut the original file to 0DFFFF regardless what speed I choose for the writing its nor working properly and the error message above pops up. |
