I just purchased the true USB today, and it is the first time I am using it. Every single time, It goes the entire burn process (27c020), and during verify, I get this error:
Device verify failed to address: 0x000370, device read 0xFF, buffer is 0xA0
Any idea what a solution is for this? Thanks! |

Can you get the correct ID of the chip? Did you do the blank check before write? Is it random location? Pin contacting not good? |

Seems like it is the TI TMS 27C020's. The M27C2001 programs fine, but the 020's seem to have issues. Blank checked. Pincontact is good. Random location, just seconds after it starts to verify.
Here is the message:
Device verify failed at address: 0x002010, device read 0x7E, buffer is 0x5E
Time:21:12:56 Writing Elapsed time: 87.52 seconds. Time:21:14:24 Device write completed. OK Code Verifing Device verify failed at address: 0x002010, device read 0x7E, buffer is 0x5E Device verify failed. Elapsed time: 173.80 seconds.

M27C2001 should fully compatible with 27C020.
Do you have second 27C020 to try?
I tested on my GQ-3X and no problem. |

Can you try program in on GQ-3X and verify it on PCB3? This will narrow down the problem to read/verify only. Thanks. |

was getting ready to say yes, but we just bought a house and I took the power adapter over there yesterday, and to much snow on the ground to drive out there and get it lol. So I can try that tommorow. I am going to try to wire this chip up anyways to see if it works properly (one that failed on verify) ill report back. Thanks! |

well after I burned and failed verified, I tested it on actual hardware that I put it into, and everything seems like it went good |
