Hi I am trying to copy and burn an ATMEL Eprom # AT29C040A-90JC. I used the settings for AT29C040A and I can copy the eprom from a good one to my hard drive. When I try to burn a new eprom and read it all i see on the screen are lots of question marks (????????) and the eprom won't work in the device used. I use the adapter number: FWH/LPC+ Adapter . When I go to read I get a message: ID check failed. Please check device type, chip's orientation and pin contact. Some OEM chips may have compatible chip ID. Continue?
