Hi,

I'm having troubles burning 27C800 on GQ-4X, I tried differents versions of the program and different PC's and usb cables, also with and without aditional power source. Tried with different speeds too.
Jumper 1 is on correct position, and 27C160 and 27C322 burns ok.

I don't think is a chip problem, I burned a pair or those chips with a willem LPT burner (now it's not working).

Any clues ?

Regards.

Did you try use a slower speed?

Yes, all speeds. I burned only one at lower speed, one of maybe 35 tries.

Maybe the compatibility problem.

Can you send one or two testing chip to MCUmall? Then we can test it for you to find ou the problem.

Now I don't have any chip left, I needed them and burned them with the old LPT burner that suddenly works again.

It's strange, because I asked a friend with another CG-4X and he burned two 27C800 chips without errors.
