This part is not listed in Devices, although similar part numbers are. It should be a serial EEPROM, but I can't find a datasheet. Can someone please help? I need to read/program this part.

Thanks.

Whats this from?

I know some cable boxes use an AT24C512 but actually have a different part number on the chip sometimes. Not sure if this is the one you are looking for without more info.

I believe it is a 2Kb serial EEPROM, although it may be larger. It's from an alarm. An older unit had a 24C02, the newer unit had the ATMLH722.

I see that the programmer software device list has other ATMLHxxx part numbers, but not the 722.

I would try reading it as a 24C02.

Atmel have a habbit of doing this, I think its chips they give to large companys so the chip isnt easily identifiable.

My example above was a AT24C512 but also seen in the wild as a a part number similar to what you have found (cant find the exact part number from my example right now)
