If I open GQUSBprg 6.12 (GQ-4X + JTAG) and then:
* Device -> Altera EPM3064A
<<EPM3064A>>
* File->Open->"expander.jbc"
c:\...path...\expander.jbc.
* Write
I get an error box:
[USBPrg]
Data file not loaded into buffer.
[OK]
However, if the *.jbc file is in the recently-used list, I can then:
* File -> 1 (expander.jbc)
c:\...path...\expander.jbc.
(telling it to just re-open the last file attempted)
* Write
... and then the "JTAG Programmer" dialogue box (erase, blank check, verify, ID, info, write...) miraculously appears.
Any reason why I can't open an Altera PLD *.jam or *.jbc directly in GQ-4X USBprg without first needing to get it onto the "recently used" menu list? |
