Hi,
I'm having issues writing a couple of Hitachi HN27C4096AG-10 EPROMs with my GQ-4X.
I am aware with the compatibility issues with this chip, but attached to this post is the error I keep receiving (the address varies each time).
Sometimes the device and buffer values are equal, as shown in the image, and sometimes they are different. However, if I immediately retry writing, the error will occur later, proving that the previous error was a false alarm.
Is it not possible to disable this error checking and just continue writing? It appears that the errors reported aren't always accurate.
Any ideas on what I can do?

Never mind, removing the 10#956;F capacitor solved the issue. I was a little unsure as to whether I should remove it, as I saw a post here which said it's best to leave it in place as it reduces interference. |

You can remove it or use a jumper to select it. But so far we have not see any issues after remove it. |
