I received my GQ-2X this evening, but when I try to write to a couple different AM28F020 chips, I keep getting the same errors...

USB device error in USB Write Thread!
USB read failed. Error # = 23.

I've also tried hooking the programmer up to a different computer and using a DC power supply - same results. The jumpers are in the correct position as shown after selecting the device in the app. Running v1.08, also tried v1.10.

Anyone seen this before? Thanks!

I forgot to mention what the programmer WILL do. It WILL read/erase a whole EEPROM without issue. After a failed write, I can go back and see where it wrote the first 32 or so bytes them died out. The rest is blank.

Did you try on a lower speed?
Or
If possible, please try on a good USB cable(Strong and short).

Also, please take a look on the programmer board. At the right side of USB connector, there is a 220uf/6.3V radial capacitor(just left side of U14-pin 3 ). Check if it is a real 220uf capacitor.
