Hello everybody, I've bought GQ-4X few days ago and now I need an 16bit adapter. Since it's willem family programmer I'm wondering if it's compatible with 16bit willem adapters from other manufacturers or only MCUmall?
Thing is, shipping for ADP-054 adapter would cost $44 so I'm looking for alternatives :/.
Theoretically they should work. The ADP-054 has some improved design and you do not need extra address wires. But if you use other 16 bit adapter, you may need a the address line.
There are many different manufactures of Willem 16 bit adapter, and they do not have standard quality, so, the GQ-4X only garranty the ADP-054 work.
The cost $44 is a EMS service. If you ship it by regular air mail, then it should lower the shipping. But you do not have tracking number in that case.
