I bought last week a brand nex GQ4X programmer complete with ADP-003 adapter to program an MX29LV320CT flash. I have followed the instructions and have the jumpers set to '29F', '064' to off, and voltage to '5V' yet I can't erase or program it. I can read the data ok. I have tried selecting 'temp unprotected' and have slowed the speed down but nothing works. Does anyone have any ideas? |

The "temp unprotected" should erase and write the chip regardless of locked chip.
But since you are unable to unlock the chip, then I suggest you to get another one or two good chips to try. |

I will have to buy one as I do not have another. This was removed from an LG plasma tv. I tried locking the device, then unlocking it. All sectors are now locked and won't unlock.
I have just reprogrammed a W25X40 successfully so I know the programmer and pc are basically working etc |

try another chip or other brand. This will help to identify the problem. |

All sectors say they are unlocked |

Click on Lock button and check if the chip been locked. |
