The bios of my motherboard(DFI LP LT X38-T2R) is dead by accident operation. The Bios chip is SST 49LF008A-33-NHE. I have bought a True USB Willem programmer(GQ-3x) to re-write the bios. I find several problems while writing bios in.
first, There are 3 type of SST 49LF008A, when i try to choose a decice. They are 49LF008A*PLCC32, 49LF008A*TSOP32, and 49LF008A*TSOP40. I know the last type is wrong for my chip. I counted the leads is 32. But, which one should i choose of PLC32 and TSOP32.

Secondly, when i try writing the new program into the bios, the writing process alway failed. The software shows me "Write failed, address 0x01507?(error always arround the address.) buffer:0x72 device:0xFF". what is the reason of the error? the version of bios or the chip have been damaged?

By the way, i have erased the chip before writting in, and i checked the chip is blank. Also, the chip ID is checked well. Reading the chip working well too. Verifying the empty chip finished well.

What are the general reasons for writing failed?

I am a new programmer to use the Willem Programmer. I really need a help. Thanks guys.

Your chip is PLCC#2 and should select 49LF008A*PLCC32.

Make sure your chip is contacting good with the PLCC socket. Remove and reinsert again and do not push the chip too deep in the socket.
Also, slow down the speed the try.
